Membership

• All members must be at least 18 years old.

• FB reserves the right to refuse membership at its discretion.

• All information supplied will be examined and where possible verified before names are added to our database.

• Names of donors/recipients will be removed from our database immediately if it is found that information given is false or deliberately misleading in any way.

• All members may view the profiles of other members free of charge.

• Only registered members may request other members’ contact details.

• Subscription fees are non-refundable.

• FB must be notified immediately of relevant changes in circumstances e.g. becoming pregnant.

• Members may cancel their membership at any time but will not be entitled to refund of subscription fees.

• Membership is non-transferable.

Your Personal Details

• FB reserves the right to publish non-identifying information about our members on our website.

• FB reserves the right to use all information provided by members for matching purposes.

• Personal details of donors will be passed to recipients (and vice versa) who request them.

• Whilst we will make every effort to match recipients (on introduction membership) with their idea donors this cannot be guaranteed.

Donor/Recipient Etiquette & Responsibility

• It is the responsibility of all recipients and donors to take safety precautions when communicating with or meeting each other.

• It is the responsibility of all recipients and donors to ensure necessary medical checks are carried out prior to any insemination.

• As a matter of courtesy all members are expected to respond to requests from other members even if you do not wish to work with them (A simple ‘No, thanks’ will suffice).

• Members reserve the right to choose to or choose not to donate /accept donation from/ co-parent with other members and are under no obligation to give reasons for their decisions.

• Members reserve the right to change their minds about donating / accepting donation from other members but are required to inform the other party of their decision.

• Sperm Donors may not charge recipients (cash or other compensations) to donate sperm; however they may be reimbursed for reasonable expenses such as travel or medical tests.

Misconduct

• FB membership is open to people of all nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation and marital status. Prejudice of any kind will not be tolerated and are grounds for cancellation of membership. 

• Members may not use offensive or abusive language in correspondence even if an unfavourable response has been received.

• Please report misconduct to us at support@feelingbroody.com

• All reports of misconduct will be investigated and if founded will lead to immediate cancellation of membership.

• Memberships cancelled due to misconduct will not be entitled to refund of subscription fees.

FB does not:

• Carry out medical tests on either donors/recipients
• Collect sperm samples from donors
• Inseminate recipients
• Offer medical advice

Members are advised to seek professional medical advice and get tested before embarking on home/self insemination.
